Until patched, this is a concern on applications accepting untrusted font data and rendering text using FreeType with a non-zero stroke width, so restrict applications from loading untrusted font files and avoid rendering FreeType text with a non-zero stroke width. These controls limit blast radius and contain exploitation, but they do not fix the underlying invalid pointer free defect — apply the upstream patch to fully remediate.
