Summary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/bnxt_re: Proper rollback if the ioremap fails bnxt_qplib_alloc_dpi returns success even if ioremap fails. Add the proper rollback when the ioremap fails and return -ENOMEM status.

When the `bnxt_qplib_alloc_dpi` function attempts to map I/O memory (`ioremap`), it may not properly handle failures. This oversight could lead to system instability or a denial of service (DoS) condition, as the system might proceed with an invalid memory state.

Red Hat severity: Low — CVSS 5.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-252.
