Summary
A flaw was found in xmldom, a JavaScript library for parsing XML documents. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted XML document.
When processed, this document would cause the library to consume an excessive amount of memory, leading to the application running out of resources and becoming unavailable, a condition known as Denial of Service (DoS). Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H).
