Summary

A flaw was found in rclone. The HTTP backend in rclone can forward custom or authentication headers, such as API keys, Authorization, or Cookie headers, when following redirects to a different host.

This can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information to untrusted destinations. Additionally, a redirect from HTTPS to HTTP on the same host can expose these headers in cleartext.

Red Hat severity: Low — CVSS 3.7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N). Weakness: CWE-212.

Affected Red Hat products: Cryostat 4; Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.
