Summary

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Orange File System (orangefs) client. The `orangefs_prepare_cdm_array()` function incorrectly calculates the buffer size for client debug keywords when an entry starts with a space.

This can lead to a buffer overflow, allowing data to be written beyond the intended memory boundary. Such memory corruption could potentially result in a denial of service or other unspecified impacts.

Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.6 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:H). Weakness: CWE-120.

Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.
