Summary

FreeBSD version 15.1 is susceptible to a vulnerability which when successfully exploited could allow a remote attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds write in the kernel heap resulting in a kernel panic. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to Denial of Service (DoS).

Affected products: ONTAP 9. NetApp states there is no workaround available at this time.
