Advisory [CVE-2026-53027] fix missing run load for vcn0 in attr_data_get_block_locked
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: fix missing run load for vcn0 in attr_data_get_block_locked() When a compressed or sparse attribute has its clusters frame-aligned, vcn is rounded down to the frame start using cmask, which can result in vcn!= vcn0. In this case, vcn and vcn0 may reside in different attribute segments. The code already handles the case where vcn is in a different segment by loading its runs before allocation. However, it fails to load runs for vcn0 when vcn0 resides in a different segment than vcn. This causes run_lookup_entry() to return SPARSE_LCN for vcn0 since its segment was never loaded into the in-memory run list, triggering the WARN_ON(1). If vcn0 falls outside the current segment range [svcn, evcn1), find and load the attribute segment containing vcn0 before performing the run lookup. This oversight can lead to a kernel warning (`WARN_ON(1)`) during a run lookup, potentially causing system instability or a Denial of Service (DoS). A local user could trigger this condition. Red Hat severity: not rated. Weakness: CWE-166. Red Hat lists Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 as not affected.

Module: plugins/modules/keyring_info.py CVSS 3.1: 5.5 MEDIUM — AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N Issue: The module retrieves a passphrase from the OS native keyring (GNOME Keyring, macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager) and places it directly into result["passphrase"] with no output suppression, no no_log protection, and no documentation warning. Root Cause: Line 105 (protected): keyring_password=dict(type="str", required=True, no_log=True) Line 127 (NOT protected): result["passphrase"] = passphrase Observed Output: { "changed": false, "passphrase": "MyMasterP@ssw0rd!SSH_Key_Secret" } Visible via register + debug: { "keyring_result": { "changed": false, "passphrase": "MyMasterP@ssw0rd!SSH_Key_Secret" } } Impact: Master passwords, SSH key passphrases and service credentials appear in all Ansible output register: keyring_result followed by debug: var=keyring_result prints passphrase in full Ansible fact caching backends (Redis, JSON file, memcached) may persist the passphrase AWX/Tower job logs silently store the live credential Fix: module.exit_json(changed=False, passphrase=passphrase, _ansible_no_log=True) Also add a documentation warning requiring callers to use no_log: true at the task level. Medium [CVE-2026-56115] Denial of Service via crafted DHCPv6 ADVERTISE message
Bootimus through 0.1.70 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privileged users to perform administrative actions by exploiting missing role enforcement in the JWTMiddleware function in internal/auth/auth.go, which validates JWT tokens and account status but fails to inspect the is_admin flag. Attackers can send requests to any endpoint under the /api/users path to create new administrator accounts or reset administrator passwords, thereby gaining full control of the server and the ability to modify boot menus and installation scripts served to PXE clients. A flaw was found in dhcpcd. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker on the same network link to trigger a one-byte stack out-of-bounds write. By sending a specially crafted DHCPv6 ADVERTISE message with an oversized option, the attacker can corrupt adjacent stack memory. This can lead to a denial of service (DoS) in the affected system. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.3 (CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-787. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE. Affected products named by the advisory: Red Hat package: dhcpcd.

Medium [CVE-2026-10601] Tempo and Loki Datasource Plugins: Information disclosure and unauthorized actions via path traversal
A user with Viewer permissions can use specially crafted requests to the Tempo and Loki data source plugins to reach unintended backend endpoints. Depending on the backend configuration this can expose data source credentials, leak internal responses, or trigger administrative actions on the configured backend. A remote attacker with a Viewer role could exploit a path traversal vulnerability by manipulating user-supplied input in URL paths. This could allow the attacker to capture sensitive administrator-configured datasource credentials, invoke state-changing administrative functions on Tempo, or exfiltrate internal service data from Loki. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.4 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L). Weakness: CWE-22. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE. Affected products named by the advisory: Red Hat package: grafana.
Medium [CVE-2026-52910] Free reuseport cBPF prog after RCU grace period.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Free reuseport cBPF prog after RCU grace period. Eulgyu Kim reported the splat below with a repro. [0] The repro sets up a UDP reuseport group with a cBPF prog and replaces it with a new one while another thread is sending a UDP packet to the group. The reuseport prog is freed by sk_reuseport_prog_free(). bpf_prog_put() is called for "e"BPF prog to destruct through multiple stages while cBPF prog is freed immediately by bpf_release_orig_filter() and bpf_prog_free(). If a reuseport prog is detached from the setsockopt() path (reuseport_attach_prog() or reuseport_detach_prog()), sk_reuseport_prog_free() is called without waiting for RCU readers to complete, resulting in various bugs. Affected products named by the advisory: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9; and 1 more.
