In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ethtool: tsconfig: fix missing ethnl_ops_complete() tsconfig_prepare_data() calls ethnl_ops_begin(), we need to call ethnl_ops_complete() before returning the error. A missing cleanup function call after an operation could lead to resource exhaustion. This vulnerability may allow a local attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by depleting system resources. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-459. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.
