In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Fix potential invalid pointer deref in group_process_tiler_oom() If heaps is an ERR_PTR(), panthor_heap_pool_put() will deref an invalid pointer. Make sure we set it to NULL in that case. This vulnerability, located in the `group_process_tiler_oom()` function, occurs when error pointers are improperly handled, leading to an invalid memory dereference. A local attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to cause a system crash, resulting in a denial of service. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H).
