In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: hold conn reference in abort_conn_sync() There is theoretical UAF if the conn is freed while the hci_sync task is running. Hold refcount to avoid that. A theoretical Use-After-Free (UAF) vulnerability exists if a connection (`conn`) is prematurely freed while the `hci_sync` task is still active. This could potentially allow an attacker to cause a system crash or execute arbitrary code. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-825.
