High [CVE-2026-64277] synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F3A keymap to the GPIO count

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F3A keymap to the GPIO count rmi_f3a_initialize() takes the GPIO count from the device query register (f3a->gpio_count = buf & RMI_F3A_GPIO_COUNT, range 0..127). rmi_f3a_map_gpios() then allocates gpio_key_map with min(gpio_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) == at most 6 entries, but rmi_f3a_attention() iterates the full gpio_count and dereferences gpio_key_map[i], and input->keycodemax is set to the full gpio_count while input->keycode points at the 6-entry allocation. A device that reports gpio_count > 6 therefore causes an out-of-bounds read of gpio_key_map[] on every attention interrupt, and out-of-bounds accesses through the input core's default keymap ioctls: EVIOCGKEYCODE reads past the buffer (leaking adjacent slab memory to user space) and EVIOCSKEYCODE writes a caller-controlled value past it, for any process able to open the evdev node, since input_default_getkeycode() and input_default_setkeycode() only bound the index against keycodemax. The mapping loop is unchanged: it still assigns only the first min(gpio_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) entries; the remaining slots stay KEY_RESERVED (devm_kcalloc zero-fills) and are skipped when reporting. The `rmi_f3a_map_gpios()` function incorrectly allocates memory for the `gpio_key_map`, making it smaller than required.

High [CVE-2026-64515] fix MLE defragmentation

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fix MLE defragmentation If either reconf or EPCS multi-link element (MLE) is contained in a non-transmitted profile, the defragmentation routine is called with a pointer to the defragmented copy, but the original elements. This is incorrect for two reasons: - if the original defragmentation was needed, it will not find the correct data - if the original frame is at a higher address, the parsing will potentially overrun the heap data (though given the layout of the buffers, only into the new defragmentation buffer, and then it has to stop and fail once that's filled with copied data. Fix it by tracking the container along with the pointer and in doing so also unify the two almost identical defragmentation routines. This can lead to a heap data overrun, which is a form of memory corruption that may result in system instability or unexpected behavior. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-823. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE. Affected products named by the advisory: Red Hat package: kernel-rt.

High [CVE-2026-64321] fix ndev refcount leak on queue connect

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: target: rdma: fix ndev refcount leak on queue connect nvmet_rdma_queue_connect() calls nvmet_rdma_find_get_device() which acquires a reference on the returned ndev via kref_get(). On the path where the host queue backlog is exceeded and the function returns NVME_SC_CONNECT_CTRL_BUSY, reference of ndev is not released, leaking the kref. Fix this by adding a goto to the existing put_device label before the early return. This oversight can lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability, potentially allowing a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by depleting system resources. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-911. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. High [CVE-2026-64276] synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F30 keymap to the GPIO/LED count

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F30 keymap to the GPIO/LED count rmi_f30_map_gpios() allocates gpioled_key_map with min(gpioled_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) == at most 6 entries, but rmi_f30_attention() iterates the full f30->gpioled_count (device query register, range 0..31) and dereferences gpioled_key_map[i], and input->keycodemax is set to the full gpioled_count while input->keycode points at the 6-entry allocation. A device that reports gpioled_count > 6 with GPIO support enabled therefore causes an out-of-bounds read on the attention interrupt and out-of-bounds read/write through the EVIOCGKEYCODE/EVIOCSKEYCODE ioctls, which bound the index only against keycodemax. This is the same defect as the F3A handler, which was copied from F30. Size the keymap for the full gpioled_count; the mapping loop still assigns only the first min(gpioled_count, TRACKSTICK_RANGE_END) entries. This vulnerability occurs because the driver incorrectly allocates memory for a keymap, leading to an out-of-bounds memory access. A local user with access to a specially crafted input device could exploit this to read or write to unauthorized memory regions. This could result in information disclosure or potentially allow for further system compromise.

High [CVE-2026-64355] Reject fragmented frames in devmap

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject fragmented frames in devmap Devmap broadcast redirects clone the packet for all but the last destination. For native XDP, that clone path copies only the linear xdp_frame data, while fragmented frames keep skb_shared_info in tailroom outside the linear area. Cloning such a frame leaves XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS set but without valid frag metadata, and the later free path can interpret uninitialized tail data as skb_shared_info, leading to an out-of-bounds access during frame return. Add the same restriction to the generic XDP clone path in dev_map_redirect_clone(). Generic XDP represents fragmented packets as nonlinear skbs, and rejecting them here keeps clone-based broadcast support aligned between native and generic XDP. When handling devmap broadcast redirects, fragmented network frames are not properly managed during the cloning process. This can lead to an out-of-bounds access, where the system attempts to read or write data beyond the allocated memory, potentially causing system instability or denial of service. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-125. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.

High [CVE-2026-64448] restrict implied bcc[0] exemption to responses without data area

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: restrict implied bcc[0] exemption to responses without data area smb2_check_message() has a long-standing quirk that accepts a response whose calculated length is one byte larger than the bytes actually received ("server can return one byte more due to implied bcc[0]"). This was introduced to accommodate servers that omit the trailing bcc[0] overlap byte when no data area is present. However, the exemption is applied unconditionally, regardless of whether the command actually carries a data area (has_smb2_data_area[]). The subsequent decoder then reads past the end of the receive buffer. This is reachable during NEGOTIATE and SESSION_SETUP, before the session is established. High [CVE-2026-64385] Kernel SMB client: Double-free vulnerability allows remote denial of service or privilege escalation

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix double-free in SMB2_ioctl() replay A response-bearing attempt can return a replayable error and free its response buffer. If SMB2_ioctl_init() fails before the next send, cleanup retains the previous buffer type and frees that response again. Reset response bookkeeping before each attempt to prevent the stale free. A malicious or compromised SMB server could exploit this by sending crafted responses during an I/O control (ioctl) replay sequence. This could lead to a remote denial of service due to a kernel crash, and potentially allow for privilege escalation. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-1341. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. High [CVE-2026-64481] Fix firmware load work teardown

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: hda/cs35l41: Fix firmware load work teardown cs35l41_hda creates ALSA controls whose private data points at the cs35l41_hda object. The firmware load control can also queue fw_load_work. Those controls are not removed on component unbind, and device remove only cancels fw_load_work through cs35l41_remove_dsp(). That helper is skipped when halo_initialized is false. With firmware_autostart disabled, a firmware load can be requested before the DSP has been initialized. If the component or device is removed before the queued work runs, the worker can run after teardown and dereference driver state that is no longer valid. Track the created controls and remove them on unbind so no new control callback can reach the driver data or queue more work. Then cancel fw_load_work to drain any request that was already queued. Also cancel the work unconditionally during device remove before runtime PM teardown. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ALSA sound driver for the cs35l41 component. This can lead to a worker attempting to access driver data that is no longer valid after teardown, resulting in memory corruption. An attacker with local access could potentially exploit this to cause a denial of service or escalate privileges.

High [CVE-2026-64300] Fix page UAF in map_range

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/aux: Fix page UAF in map_range() map_range() reads rb->aux_pages[], rb->aux_nr_pages and rb->aux_pgoff via perf_mmap_to_page() while holding only event->mmap_mutex. Those fields are serialized by rb->aux_mutex, and mmap_mutex is per event. Thus, two events sharing one rb via PERF_EVENT_IOC_SET_OUTPUT can race rb_alloc_aux() with map_range(), leading to a page-UAF scenario as follows: CPU 0 CPU 1 ===== ===== rb_alloc_aux() map_range() [1]: allocate rb->aux_pages[0] [2]: rb->aux_nr_pages++ [3]: perf_mmap_to_page() returns rb->aux_pages[0] [4]: map it as VM_PFNMAP [5]: rb->aux_pgoff = 1 munmap the page [6]: free rb->aux_pages[0] Pages mapped as VM_PFNMAP have no refcount protection, so CPU 1 holds a mapping to a freed physical frame. Fix this by taking rb->aux_mutex across the page walk in map_range(). A use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability exists in the `map_range()` function due to a race condition. This can occur when two performance events share a ring buffer, allowing a local attacker to map a memory page that has already been freed. Exploiting this flaw could lead to arbitrary code execution or privilege escalation. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-825. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.

High [CVE-2026-64265] clear intr_entry in fuse_resend and fuse_remove_pending_req

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: clear intr_entry in fuse_resend and fuse_remove_pending_req When fuse_resend() moves a request from fpq->processing back to fiq->pending, it sets FR_PENDING and clears FR_SENT but does not remove the requests intr_entry from fiq->interrupts. If the request had FR_INTERRUPTED set from a prior signal, intr_entry remains dangling on fiq->interrupts. When the requesting task then receives a fatal signal, fuse_remove_pending_req() sees FR_PENDING=1, removes the request from fiq->pending and frees it via the refcount path, also without cleaning intr_entry. The stale intr_entry causes use-after-free when fuse_read_interrupt() iterates fiq->interrupts: - list_del_init(&req->intr_entry) -> UAF write on freed slab - req->in.h.unique -> UAF read, data leaked to userspace Remove intr_entry from fiq->interrupts in fuse_resend() for interrupted requests before they are placed back on fiq->pending. Add a WARN_ON if the intr_entry is not empty on request destruction. When a fuse request is interrupted and then resent, a specific interrupt entry (`intr_entry`) is not properly cleared. If the requesting task subsequently receives a fatal signal, this uncleared entry can lead to a use-after-free condition. If SMB2_open_init() fails before the next send, cleanup retains the previous buffer type and frees that response again. Reset response bookkeeping before each attempt to prevent the stale free. This occurs when a response-bearing attempt returns a replayable error and frees its response buffer, and then the cleanup process attempts to free the same buffer again. This memory corruption vulnerability could potentially lead to a denial of service or, in some cases, arbitrary code execution. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-1341. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. High [CVE-2026-64387] fix query directory replay double-free

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix query directory replay double-free A response-bearing attempt can return a replayable error and free its response buffer. If SMB2_query_directory_init() fails before the next send, cleanup retains the previous buffer type and frees that response again. Reset response bookkeeping before each attempt to prevent the stale free. This vulnerability, a double-free error, occurs when the client attempts to free the same memory buffer twice during a directory query operation. An attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to cause memory corruption, leading to a denial of service or, in some cases, arbitrary code execution. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-1341. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. High [CVE-2026-64372] fix use-after-free and double free in _OSC evaluation

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: pcc: fix use-after-free and double free in _OSC evaluation pcc_cpufreq_do_osc() calls acpi_evaluate_object() twice for the two-phase _OSC negotiation. Between the two calls it freed output.pointer but left output.length unchanged. Since acpi_evaluate_object() treats a non-zero length with a non-NULL pointer as an existing buffer to write into, the second call wrote into freed memory (use-after-free). The subsequent kfree(output.pointer) at out_free then freed the same pointer a second time (double free). Reset output.pointer to NULL and output.length to ACPI_ALLOCATE_BUFFER after freeing the first result, so ACPICA allocates a fresh buffer for each phase independently. A local attacker could exploit this memory corruption to cause a denial of service (DoS) or potentially achieve privilege escalation. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-763. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. High [CVE-2026-64298] include MAY_WRITE in open permission mask for O_TRUNC

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4: include MAY_WRITE in open permission mask for O_TRUNC POSIX requires write permission to truncate a file, so an open() that specifies O_TRUNC must be authorized for write access regardless of the O_ACCMODE access mode. nfs_open_permission_mask() builds the access mask passed to nfs_may_open(), which is the local authorization gate for OPENs the client serves itself from a cached write delegation via the can_open_delegated() path in nfs4_try_open_cached(). The mask is derived from O_ACCMODE alone, so an open(O_RDONLY | O_TRUNC) against a file the caller cannot write requests only MAY_READ and passes the local check. The OPEN is then satisfied locally and the truncation is issued to the server as a SETATTR(size=0) over the delegation stateid, which the server accepts under standard write-delegation semantics. A local user could exploit a vulnerability where opening a file with O_TRUNC (truncate) and O_RDONLY (read-only) flags would bypass the necessary write permission checks. This oversight allows an attacker to truncate a file without having explicit write access, leading to unauthorized data modification. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-358.

High [CVE-2026-64303] terminate the RX channel on TX prepare failure path

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: fsl-lpspi: terminate the RX channel on TX prepare failure path When dmaengine_prep_slave_sg() fails for the TX channel, the error path terminates the TX DMA channel but leaves the RX channel running. Since the RX channel was already submitted and issued prior to preparing the TX descriptor, returning -EINVAL causes the SPI core to unmap the DMA buffers while the RX DMA engine continues writing to them, leading to potential memory corruption or use-after-free. This vulnerability occurs when the transmit (TX) Direct Memory Access (DMA) channel fails to prepare, but the receive (RX) DMA channel continues to operate. This can lead to memory corruption or a use-after-free condition, potentially allowing an attacker to compromise system integrity or execute unauthorized code. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-825. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. High [CVE-2026-64516] Fix VCE 1 firmware size and offsets

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/vce1: Fix VCE 1 firmware size and offsets The VCPU BO contains the actual FW at an offset, but it was not calculated into the VCPU BO size. Subtract this from the FW size to make sure there is no out of bounds access. Make sure the stack and data offsets are aligned to the 32K TLB size. High [CVE-2026-64366] fix slab-out-of-bounds write in wacom_wac_queue_insert

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: wacom: fix slab-out-of-bounds write in wacom_wac_queue_insert wacom_wac_queue_insert() calls kfifo_skip() in a loop when the kfifo doesn't have enough space for the incoming report. If the kfifo is empty, kfifo_skip() reads stale data left in the kmalloc'd buffer via __kfifo_peek_n() and interprets it as a record length, advancing fifo->out by that garbage value. This corrupts the internal kfifo state, causing kfifo_unused() to return a value much larger than the actual buffer size, which bypasses __kfifo_in_r()'s guard: if (len + recsize > kfifo_unused(fifo)) return 0; kfifo_copy_in() then performs an out-of-bounds memcpy, writing up to 3842 bytes past the 256-byte buffer. Add a!kfifo_is_empty() condition to the while loop so kfifo_skip() is never called on an empty fifo, and check the return value of kfifo_in() to reject reports that are too large for the fifo. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Wacom Human Interface Device (HID) driver. This vulnerability occurs in the `wacom_wac_queue_insert` function when handling incoming reports. Improper management of the kernel's internal buffer (kfifo) can lead to a slab-out-of-bounds write, allowing an attacker to corrupt memory. This memory corruption could potentially result in a denial of service or, in some cases, arbitrary code execution.

High [CVE-2026-64323] validate VAT header length against the VAT inode size

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: validate VAT header length against the VAT inode size udf_load_vat() takes the virtual partition's start offset straight from the on-disk VAT 2.0 header without checking it against the VAT inode size: map->s_type_specific.s_virtual.s_start_offset = le16_to_cpu(vat20->lengthHeader); map->s_type_specific.s_virtual.s_num_entries = (sbi->s_vat_inode->i_size - map->s_type_specific.s_virtual.s_start_offset) >> 2; lengthHeader is a fully attacker-controlled 16-bit value. If it exceeds the VAT inode size, the s_num_entries subtraction underflows to a huge count, which defeats the "block > s_num_entries" bound in udf_get_pblock_virt15(); and on the ICB-inline path that function reads ((__le32 *)(iinfo->i_data + s_start_offset))[block] so a large s_start_offset indexes past the inode's in-ICB data. Mounting a crafted UDF image with a virtual (VAT) partition then triggers an out-of-bounds read. Reject a VAT whose header length does not leave room for at least one entry within the VAT inode. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Universal Disk Format (UDF) filesystem. A local attacker could craft a malicious UDF image with a specially formed Virtual Allocation Table (VAT) header. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read, potentially causing a system crash or information disclosure.
