Summary

Multiple NetApp products incorporate MySQL Server. MySQL Server versions 8.0.0-8.0.42 are susceptible to a vulnerability which when successfully exploited could allow a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server.

Refer to “Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - July 2025”. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server.
