Low [CVE-2026-6352] Auditor-level users can modify compliance records via improper authorization in GraphQL

GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 18.2 before 18.11.7, 19.0 before 19.0.4, and 19.1 before 19.1.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with auditor-level access to modify compliance violation records due to improper authorization on certain GraphQL operations. A flaw was found in GitLab Enterprise Edition (EE). This was possible due to improper authorization on certain GraphQL operations, allowing them to bypass intended access controls. Red Hat severity: Low — CVSS 2.7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-639. Red Hat lists OpenShift Pipelines; Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 as not affected.

Medium [CVE-2026-14740] DBI for Perl: Out-of-bounds read in SQL comment processing

DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl read one byte out-of-bounds in preparse when deleting an initial SQL comment. The preparse method normalises SQL and removes comments. When the SQL starts with a comment line, the deletion of that line during normalisation led to an out-of-bounds read by one byte. The result is a fault on memory-hardened builds and nondeterministic newline retention on normal builds. This issue may cause a program fault on systems with memory hardening or result in unpredictable newline retention in other environments. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-125. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9. Will not fix / out of support: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE. Affected products named by the advisory: Red Hat package: perl-dbi.

Medium [CVE-2026-14781] OIDC email_verified claim incorrectly applied to userinfo email

A flaw exists in the org.keycloak.broker.oidc package where the OIDC broker incorrectly synchronizes the email_verified claim. When an OIDC identity provider is configured with trustEmail=true and the userinfo endpoint is enabled, Keycloak retrieves the email address from the userinfo response but retrieves the email_verified status exclusively from the id_token. The root cause is a lack of validation ensuring that the email_verified claim in the id_token actually refers to the email address returned by the userinfo endpoint. If these two sources return different email addresses, the id_token's email_verified=true claim is blindly applied to the userinfo email. Exploitation Conditions: The OIDC identity provider must have trustEmail set to true (non-default). The attacker must control or have compromised the upstream OIDC provider. Concrete Impact: Mark arbitrary email addresses as verified in the Keycloak database. Bypass email-based security controls or verification workflows. Potential account takeover if the application relies solely on the email_verified flag from the IdP to link accounts. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to cause an arbitrary email address to be marked as verified in Keycloak without proper validation. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 4.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-1288.

High [CVE-2026-53361] Set gc_in_progress to true in unix_gc

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: af_unix: Set gc_in_progress to true in unix_gc(). Igor Ushakov reported that unix_gc() could run with gc_in_progress being false if the work is scheduled while running: Thread 1 Thread 2 Thread 3 -------- -------- -------- unix_schedule_gc() unix_schedule_gc() `- if (!gc_in_progress) `- if (!gc_in_progress) |- gc_in_progress = true | `- queue_work() | unix_gc() <----------------/ | | |- gc_in_progress = true... `- queue_work() | | `- gc_in_progress = false | | unix_gc() <---------------------------------------------' |... /* gc_in_progress == false */ | `- gc_in_progress = false unix_peek_fpl() relies on gc_in_progress not to confuse GC by MSG_PEEK. A race condition exists within the `unix_gc()` garbage collection function where the `gc_in_progress` flag may not be correctly set. This could lead to `unix_peek_fpl()` misinterpreting garbage collection status when handling `MSG_PEEK` operations, potentially causing unexpected behavior or information disclosure to a local attacker. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-366. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. High [CVE-2026-9563] Denial of Service via uncontrolled resource consumption in JSON parsing

In Eclipse Parsson published Maven Central artifacts before version 1.1.8, the JSON parser did not enforce a default maximum on the number of characters consumed while parsing a single JSON document. Applications that parse attacker- controlled JSON can be forced to consume excessive CPU and memory by processing very large documents, including large arrays, objects, strings, numbers, whitespace, or nested structures, resulting in a denial of service. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing a very large, specially crafted JSON document. This is an Important denial of service vulnerability in Eclipse Parsson, a JSON processing library. Applications within Red Hat products that parse untrusted or attacker-controlled JSON documents are susceptible to excessive CPU and memory consumption. This can lead to resource exhaustion and service unavailability due to the parser not enforcing limits on the size or complexity of JSON input. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-770. High [CVE-2026-53357] fix UAF in l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen vs l2cap_conn_del

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: fix UAF in l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() vs l2cap_conn_del() bt_accept_dequeue() unlinks a not-yet-accepted child from the parent accept queue and release_sock()s it before returning, so the returned sk has no caller reference and is unlocked. l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() walks these children on listening-socket close. A concurrent HCI disconnect drives hci_rx_work -> l2cap_conn_del() which runs l2cap_chan_del() + l2cap_sock_kill() and frees the child sk and its l2cap_chan; cleanup_listen() then uses both: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in l2cap_sock_kill l2cap_sock_kill / l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen / __x64_sys_close Freed by: l2cap_conn_del -> l2cap_sock_close_cb -> l2cap_sock_kill This is distinct from the two fixes already in this area: commit e83f5e24da741 ("Bluetooth: serialize accept_q access") serialises the accept_q list/poll and takes temporary refs inside bt_accept_dequeue(), and CVE-2025-39860 serialises the userspace close()/accept() race by calling cleanup_listen() under lock_sock() in l2cap_sock_release(). Neither covers l2cap_conn_del() running from hci_rx_work, so this UAF still reproduces on current bluetooth/master. Take the reference at the

Medium [CVE-2026-53358] use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen() l2cap_chan_close() removes the channel from conn->chan_l, which must be done under conn->lock. cleanup_listen() runs under the parent sk_lock, so acquiring conn->lock would invert the established conn->lock -> chan->lock -> sk_lock order. Instead of calling l2cap_chan_close() directly, schedule l2cap_chan_timeout with delay 0 to close the channel asynchronously. The timeout handler already acquires conn->lock and chan->lock in the correct order. The timer is only armed when chan->conn is still set: if it is already NULL, l2cap_conn_del() has already processed this channel (l2cap_chan_del + l2cap_sock_teardown_cb + l2cap_sock_close_cb), so there is nothing left to do. If l2cap_conn_del() races in after the timer is armed, __clear_chan_timer() inside l2cap_chan_del() cancels it; if the timer has already fired, the handler returns harmlessly because chan->conn was cleared. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth L2CAP (Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol) implementation. This vulnerability arises from an incorrect order of acquiring locks during channel cleanup, which could lead to a race condition. This issue could potentially cause instability or unexpected behavior within the Bluetooth subsystem.

Low [CVE-2026-54891] Unauthenticated data injection during TLS handshake

Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability in Erlang/OTP ssl (tls_gen_connection module) allows a network-positioned attacker to inject unauthenticated plaintext that the TLS client application later treats as authenticated server data. The function tls_gen_connection:handle_protocol_record/3 rejects APPLICATION_DATA records that arrive in pre-handshake states when the TLS endpoint acts as a server, but does not apply the same check when the endpoint acts as a client. The records are buffered and, once the handshake completes successfully, delivered to the application as if they were authenticated post-handshake data. The attacker cannot observe the client's response or steer the connection, so the impact is limited to blind injection of unauthenticated bytes. The injection window is wider for TLS versions prior to TLS 1.3 than for TLS 1.3. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/ssl/src/tls_gen_connection.erl. TLS 1.3 is affected starting with OTP 22.0, when TLS 1.3 support was added. This issue affects OTP from OTP R13B03 before OTP 27.3.4.14, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.3, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.3, corresponding to ssl from 3.10.7 before 11.2.12.10, from 11.3 before 11.6.0.3, and from 11.7 before 11.7.3. A flaw was found in Erlang's SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) component.

High [CVE-2026-53341] fix UAF due to unlocked ->mnt_ns read in may_decode_fh

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fhandle: fix UAF due to unlocked ->mnt_ns read in may_decode_fh() may_decode_fh() accesses mount::mnt_ns without holding any locks; that means the mount can concurrently be unmounted, and the mnt_namespace can concurrently be freed after an RCU grace period. This race can happens as follows, assuming that the mount point was created by open_tree(..., OPEN_TREE_CLONE): thread 1 thread 2 RCU __do_sys_open_by_handle_at do_handle_open handle_to_path may_decode_fh is_mounted [mount::mnt_ns access] [mount::mnt_ns access] __do_sys_close fput_close_sync __fput dissolve_on_fput umount_tree class_namespace_excl_destructor namespace_unlock free_mnt_ns mnt_ns_tree_remove call_rcu(mnt_ns_release_rcu) mnt_ns_release_rcu mnt_ns_release kfree [mnt_namespace::user_ns access] **UAF** Fix it by taking rcu_read_lock() around the mount::mnt_ns access, like in __prepend_path(). Additionally, document the semantics of mount::mnt_ns, and use WRITE_ONCE() for writers that can race with lockless readers. High [CVE-2026-53354] Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs A number of CPUs developed by Arm suffer from errata whereby a broadcast TLBI;DSB sequence may complete before the global observation of writes which are translated by an affected TLB entry. These errata ONLY affect the completion of memory accesses which have been translated by an invalidated TLB entry, and these errata DO NOT affect the actual invalidation of TLB entries. TLB entries are removed correctly. This issue has been assigned CVE ID CVE-2025-10263. To mitigate this issue, Arm recommends that software follows any affected TLBI;DSB sequence with an additional TLBI;DSB, which will ensure that all memory write effects affected by the first TLBI have been globally observed. The additional TLBI can use any operation that is broadcast to affected CPUs, and the additional DSB can use any option that is sufficient to complete the additional TLBI. The ARM64_WORKAROUND_REPEAT_TLBI workaround is sufficient to mitigate the issue. Enable this workaround for affected CPUs, and update the silicon errata documentation accordingly. Note that due to the manner in which Arm develops IP and tracks errata, some CPUs share a common erratum number. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel, affecting systems running on certain Arm processors.

High [CVE-2026-53355] clear i_sends on setup unwind

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rds: clear i_sends on setup unwind The RDS IB connection teardown path is written so it can run during partial startup and on repeated shutdown attempts. It uses NULL pointers to distinguish resources that are still owned from resources that have already been released. When rds_ib_setup_qp() fails after allocating i_sends but before allocating i_recvs, the sends_out path frees i_sends without clearing the pointer. A later shutdown pass can still treat that stale pointer as a live send ring allocation. Clear i_sends after vfree() in the error unwind path so the existing shutdown logic continues to use the correct ownership state. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Reliable Datagram Sockets (RDS) over InfiniBand (IB) connection teardown process. When the rds_ib_setup_qp() function fails to set up a connection, it may free a memory allocation (i_sends) without properly clearing the associated pointer. This can lead to a stale pointer being used in a subsequent shutdown operation, potentially causing incorrect memory access and system instability or a denial of service. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-825. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Medium [CVE-2026-53333] handle non-swap entries before !CONFIG_SWAP guard

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/mincore: handle non-swap entries before!CONFIG_SWAP guard mincore_swap() also fields migration/hwpoison entries (and shmem swapin-error entries), which can exist on!CONFIG_SWAP builds when CONFIG_MIGRATION or CONFIG_MEMORY_FAILURE is enabled. The!IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_SWAP) guard ran before the non-swap-entry early return, so mincore_pte_range() can spuriously WARN and report these pages nonresident on!CONFIG_SWAP kernels. Move the guard below the non-swap-entry check so only true swap entries trip the WARN, and migration/hwpoison entries take the existing "uptodate / non-shmem" path. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's memory management (mm/mincore). This vulnerability occurs when handling non-swap memory entries, particularly in systems configured without swap. An issue in the `mincore_pte_range()` function can cause the system to incorrectly report certain memory pages as nonresident, leading to spurious warnings. This could potentially impact system stability or lead to misdiagnosis of memory conditions. Red Hat severity: Low — CVSS 5.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-393. Medium [CVE-2026-53352] clear JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for caller in zap_other_threads

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: signal: clear JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for caller in zap_other_threads() When a multi-threaded process receives a stop signal (e.g., SIGSTOP), do_signal_stop() sets JOBCTL_STOP_PENDING and JOBCTL_STOP_CONSUME on all threads and sets signal->group_stop_count to the number of threads. If one of the threads concurrently calls execve(), de_thread() invokes zap_other_threads() to kill all other threads. zap_other_threads() aborts the pending group stop by resetting signal->group_stop_count to 0 and clears the JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for all other threads. However, it fails to clear the job control flags for the calling thread. When execve() completes, the calling thread returns to user mode and checks for pending signals. Seeing the stale JOBCTL_STOP_PENDING flag, it calls do_signal_stop(), which invokes task_participate_group_stop(). This aligns with other functions that tear down a thread group and abort group stops, such as zap_process() and complete_signal(), which correctly clear these flags for all threads including the current one. This can occur when a multi-threaded process receives a stop signal, and one of its threads concurrently calls `execve()`. The un-cleared flags can lead to an attempt to decrement an already-zero counter, triggering a kernel warning and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).

Medium [CVE-2026-53344] Initialize mcp->dev and mcp->addr before regmap init

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: mcp23s08: Initialize mcp->dev and mcp->addr before regmap init Regmap initialization triggers regcache_maple_populate() which attempts SPI read to populate cache. SPI read requires mcp->dev and mcp->addr to be set, without them, NULL pointer dereference occurs during probe. Move initialization before mcp23s08_spi_regmap_init() call. During the initialization of the `regmap` (register map) for the `mcp23s08` component, an attempt to perform an SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) read occurs before critical device parameters (`mcp->dev` and `mcp->addr`) are properly set. This premature access leads to a NULL pointer dereference, which can cause a system crash and result in a Denial of Service (DoS). Red Hat severity: Moderate. Weakness: CWE-476.
