High [CVE-2026-45699] Stack-based buffer overflow in copydir allows arbitrary code execution

Netatalk is a Free and Open Source file server suite for Unix-like operating systems. In versions 3.1.19 through 4.4.2, a stack-based buffer overflow exists in the copydir() function of Netatalk's afpd daemon due to an integer underflow in the calculation of the remaining buffer size used for path construction. copydir() is a utility function called when a file operation crosses a device boundary inside an AFP shared volume, which the standard library's renameat() cannot handle. The function attempts to track available buffer space using srem and drem for source and destination paths. Incorrect arithmetic causes both srem and drem to underflow to SIZE_MAX. Consequently, boundary checks against strlen(de->d_name) always pass, allowing strcpy() to append filenames into nearly full stack buffers. Version 4.4.3 patches the issue. As a workaround, configure each AFP shared volume to be structured as a single file system, in other words no subdirectory of a shared volume should be a mount point for a different file system. A flaw was found in Netatalk. Incorrect calculation of buffer size can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow, potentially allowing an attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution or cause a denial of service. Netatalk is not shipped in any Red Hat product.

High [CVE-2026-46603] Denial of Service via excessive memory allocation

VP8L decoding in golang.org/x/image/vp8l can allocate an excessive amount of memory when processing a crafted VP8L image containing many unused Huffman tree groups. This allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via memory exhaustion. This is an Important severity flaw due to the potential for a remote attacker to trigger a denial of service. By providing a specially crafted VP8L image, an attacker can exploit a vulnerability in `golang.org/x/image/vp8l` that causes excessive memory allocation, leading to memory exhaustion in applications processing these images. This could impact the availability of services utilizing the affected component. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-770. High [CVE-2026-46439] Remote Code Execution via Recursive Server-Side Template Injection

compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Versions prior to 3.12.2 and 4.0.3 have a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability exists in the `trestle author jinja` command. The command recursively evaluates rendered templates, allowing an attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution with privileges of the running process by injecting malicious payloads into data fields (such as SSP documents or Lookup Tables). The vulnerability does not require attacker control of the template itself. Only attacker-controlled input data rendered into a trusted template is required. This distinction is critical: the template author may only intend to render plain text (e.g., `Title: {{ ssp.metadata.title }}`), but because of the recursive parsing, the data field itself becomes executable. The vulnerability is caused by recursive re-compilation and re-rendering of already-rendered output. Red Hat severity: Important — CVSS 7.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Weakness: CWE-917. Affected Red Hat products: File Integrity Operator. Red Hat lists Red Hat Hardened Images as not affected. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.

Medium [CVE-2026-74243] Unauthenticated secscan notification endpoint in Quay when PSK is unset

A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay. When the SECURITY_SCANNER_V4_PSK (pre-shared key) is not set, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send POST requests to the security scanner notification endpoint. This allows the attacker to flood the notification queue and inject path traversal characters into Clair API URL paths. The primary consequence is worker resource exhaustion and blind path manipulation on the configured Clair host, potentially leading to a denial of service. This risk is primarily present in standalone Quay installations where the `SECURITY_SCANNER_V4_PSK` is not explicitly configured, as operator-managed deployments automatically generate this key. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 6.5 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L). Weakness: CWE-306. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat OpenShift Update Service; Red Hat Quay 3. Medium [CVE-2026-74242] Repository notification UUID IDOR in Quay API

A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay. An administrator of any repository, by knowing or guessing a target notification's Universally Unique Identifier (UUID), can read the notification configuration, including sensitive details like webhook URLs, Slack tokens, and email addresses. This vulnerability also allows them to trigger test notifications for another repository. This could lead to unauthorized information disclosure and potential misuse of notification services. Exploitation requires knowledge of a specific 128-bit notification UUID, which limits the likelihood of successful attacks despite the potential for information disclosure. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.3 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). Weakness: CWE-639. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat OpenShift Update Service; Red Hat Quay 3. Medium [CVE-2026-74241] LDAP referral filter injection in Quay external LDAP authentication

A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's external Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication handling. When an LDAP referral is returned during authentication, the system does not properly escape the username input. This allows an attacker to inject LDAP filter metacharacters, enabling user-existence oracle attacks at the referral Directory Name (DN). This could also potentially influence which DN is used for password binding in multi-domain Active Directory environments. This Moderate impact flaw in Red Hat Quay's external LDAP authentication arises from improper sanitization of username input during LDAP referral processing. While direct authentication bypass is prevented and directory enumeration is limited, an attacker could exploit this to conduct user-existence oracle attacks against referral DNs, potentially influencing password binds in multi-domain Active Directory setups. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 4.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-90. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat OpenShift Update Service; Red Hat Quay 3. Medium [CVE-2026-74240] JWT claim validation bypasses in Quay federated robot and SSO authentication

A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's JWT (JSON Web Token) validation for federated robot accounts and single sign-on (SSO) authentication. Multiple issues related to audience verification and the enforcement of `azp` and `sub` claims were identified. These flaws could allow an attacker with a validly-signed token from the same identity provider to bypass configured security restrictions. This bypass could lead to unauthorized access by circumventing intended audience, subject, or authorized-client limitations. This is due to default configurations for federated robot authentication not enforcing audience verification, and insufficient checks for 'azp' and 'sub' claims in certain scenarios. Exploitation requires a pre-existing valid token from the same IdP, limiting the attack surface. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.4 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-287. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat OpenShift Update Service; Red Hat Quay 3. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.

Medium [CVE-2026-49263] Denial of Service and parser desynchronization via WebAssembly `br_table` instruction-size truncation

Capstone is a disassembly framework. Prior to version 6.0.0-Alpha9, Capstone's WebAssembly backend accepts attacker-controlled raw WASM instruction bytes through the public `cs_disasm()` and `cs_disasm_iter()` APIs. For a large but well-formed `br_table` instruction, the WASM decoder accumulates the immediate length in a wider local variable but returns it through a `uint16_t` instruction-size path. When the encoded instruction length is exactly 65,536 bytes, the size wraps to zero and `cs_disasm()` can repeatedly decode the same instruction without advancing. For larger lengths, `cs_disasm_iter()` advances into the middle of the `br_table` payload and decodes target bytes as subsequent instructions. This is an availability and parser-integrity issue. A remote attacker could exploit this by providing a specially crafted `br_table` instruction. This could lead to a denial of service, where the disassembler gets stuck in a loop, or cause parser desynchronization, leading to incorrect disassembly of subsequent instructions. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 6.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:H). Weakness: CWE-190. Affected Red Hat products: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9; Red Hat Hardened Images; Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4. Medium [CVE-2026-49282] Denial of service via out-of-bounds read in M68K and RISCV backends

Capstone is a disassembly framework. Prior to version 6.0.0-Alpha9, Capstone's public `cs_insn_name()` API forwards caller-supplied instruction IDs directly to the selected architecture backend. Most backends validate the ID before indexing instruction-name tables, but the M68K and RISCV backends have missing or incomplete bounds checks. On a Capstone handle opened for M68K or RISCV, a caller-controlled invalid instruction ID can trigger an out-of-bounds read and crash the process. The demonstrated impact is availability loss in applications or bindings that expose instruction-name lookup to untrusted IDs. No code execution or data disclosure was demonstrated. A flaw was found in Capstone. The `cs_insn_name()` application programming interface (API) in the M68K and RISCV backends does not properly validate caller-supplied instruction IDs. Moderate: This flaw in Capstone's M68K and RISCV backends can lead to a denial of service. Applications that utilize Capstone and expose the `cs_insn_name()` API to untrusted instruction IDs without proper validation are susceptible to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a crash. The impact is limited to availability and does not involve code execution or information disclosure. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 6.2 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). Weakness: CWE-125.

Medium [CVE-2026-66807] dangerouslySetInnerHTML with unescaped subscription identifiers in SharedResourceWarning

Stack-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. A flaw was found in console. The `getCodeSpan` helper in `SharedResourceWarning.js` constructs an HTML string using string concatenation without proper HTML encoding. This unescaped string is then rendered via React's `dangerouslySetInnerHTML`. While current Kubernetes DNS-1123 name validation prevents immediate exploitation, any future relaxation of this validation or an alternative data source could enable stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the hub console. This could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users. This vulnerability is rated as Low impact because Kubernetes DNS-1123 name validation currently prevents the injection of HTML metacharacters, making it not exploitable in Red Hat products today. However, this represents a latent Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) risk in the console that could become exploitable if upstream data source validation is relaxed. Red Hat severity: Low — CVSS 4.6 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L). Weakness: CWE-79. Affected Red Hat products: Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes; Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2. Red Hat does not currently list a fixing RHSA for this CVE.

Medium [CVE-2026-46380] Server-Side Request Forgery via unvalidated URL in remote fetching subsystem

compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Prior to versions 3.12.2 and 4.0.3, the HTTPSFetcher._do_fetch() method passes a user-supplied URL directly to requests.get() without validation. This allows an attacker to perform Server-Side Request Forgery, targeting internal services or cloud metadata endpoints. An attacker who can influence a URI that compliance-trestle later resolves (e.g. a href in an OSCAL profile/catalog) can trigger an unvalidated requests.get() call via HTTPSFetcher._do_fetch(), reaching internal-only hosts or cloud metadata endpoints. The response is cached locally and could be exposed if later surfaced. compliance-trestle has no network listener, so exploitation requires a local trestle operation to process attacker-influenced content. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 6.7 (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-918. Affected Red Hat products: File Integrity Operator. Medium [CVE-2026-19879] HTTP response header integrity issue due to character truncation

A flaw was found in Undertow, an HTTP server, within its HTTP response header writing path. The `writeString()` method performs a silent narrowing cast from 16-bit Unicode characters to 8-bit bytes when writing HTTP response header values. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying specific Unicode characters in user-controlled input that an application places into response headers. This can lead to the truncation of these characters into ASCII control characters or special symbols, potentially resulting in limited integrity impact or information disclosure if the application does not properly sanitize user input. This Moderate impact defense-in-depth flaw in Undertow's HTTP response header handling occurs when applications place unsanitized user-controlled Unicode input into response headers. While Undertow prevents HTTP response splitting, the silent truncation of characters to ASCII control characters or special symbols could pose a risk in applications that reflect these header values without proper validation. Red Hat severity: Moderate — CVSS 5.3 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N). Weakness: CWE-681.
